Our Career Day went off without a hitch today! The students learned that Someone Builds the Dream and were exposed to a vast variety of career possibilities. We saw many students dressed up as what they’d like to be when they grow up. Many teachers, athletes, zoo keepers, and singers attend Aux Sable!

Mrs. Barten’s 2nd grade class recently celebrated Dinosaur Day! After studying and researching dinosaurs, students shared what they learned through a variety of reading and writing activities. Students also put their math skills to work by drawing a life-size dinosaur on the blacktop. They even pretended to be paleontologists as they dug for fossils.

Our teachers felt the love this week! They were fed well, loved and respected!! Aux is about a partnership - all of us working together to make young lives into people we want to be around when they grow up. Thank you for the notes, the food, the gifts.

During PE class, students have been working collaboratively throughout the recreational games unit. They are building their communication and problem-solving skills as they participate in group activities. These games are designed to be easily played at home or within the community, helping students apply teamwork and cooperation beyond the classroom!
