🎉 Help us celebrate Mr. Ronnie — our Employee of the Month AND 7 Years of Service at Cadence Mint Hill! 🎉

There are some people who come to work and do their job, and then there are people who truly make a difference. Mr. Ronnie is one of those special people. 💙

For the past 7 years, Ronnie has been a valued part of the Cadence Mint Hill family. While he may be known as our housekeeper and transportation driver, he is so much more than a job title. Ronnie is a true example of what it means to have a Service First mentality.

He has a way of becoming an extension of family to the residents he serves. They trust him, count on him, and know that Ronnie will always be there with a helping hand, a kind heart, and—of course—a smile. 😊

And if you know Mr. Ronnie, you know there’s always a joke ready to go! 😂 Whether he’s talking about his beloved Carolina Panthers 🏈 or sharing stories about what he’s been grilling on the weekend 🍗🔥, there is never a shortage of conversation (or laughter) when Ronnie is around!

Ronnie, thank you for 7 incredible years of dedication, laughter, kindness, and service. You make Cadence Mint Hill a better place simply by being you, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. ❤️

💚 Help Us Fill the Boxes & Support Local Kids! 💚

From August 31–September 7, Cadence Mint Hill is hosting a food drive to benefit children in schools right here in our local community. We’d love for you to join us in helping provide nutritious, easy-to-enjoy options for children who may need a little extra support after school.

This year, we’re especially looking for healthier, more nutritious items, including:

🥤 Protein shakes & drinks
💧 Water enhancers
🥣 Granola & protein bars
🍎 Healthy, kid-friendly snacks
🥫 Easy-open canned foods
🍽️ Other convenient, nutritious shelf-stable options

If possible, we’d love to limit highly sugary items and focus on foods that can give local children a little more nutrition and energy when they need it most.

📍 Collection boxes are located at the front desk at Cadence Mint Hill.

📅 August 31–September 7

Every donation, big or small, can make a difference. Let’s come together as a community and help make sure our local children have access to something nutritious when they need it. 💚

🐾 National Dog Day was a tail-wagging success! 🐾

This week, our residents headed to the Charlotte Humane Society for some quality time with some very adorable VIPs — the dogs (and cats!) waiting for their forever homes. 🐶🐱❤️

We toured the facility, got lots of furry-friend time, and learned all about the adoption process from start to finish. It was a fun, heartwarming visit filled with smiles, paws, and plenty of “aww!” moments. 🐾

A big thank-you to the Charlotte Humane Society for welcoming us! 💙
