After a lot of thought, I’ve decided this was my last run for commissioner for now. Maybe someday in the distant future I might feel called to try again. For the time being, I am choosing to step back from campaigning.

I still want to serve Mint Hill in any way I can. I may look into joining the Planning Board or finding another way to contribute. That may be where I can make the biggest difference.

This campaign felt different and it reminded me why I got involved in the first place. I wanted to work for the people of this town and not for any party. I am grateful to everyone who has supported me over these last four years.

I will continue using this page to share updates and information about Mint Hill. I love this town and I will always do what I can to help our community.

Well tomorrow's the day. I went and had a talk with Mama and pops today. They say they're rooting for me. I know if Pops was here he'd be at every polling place pulling for me, he used to love to do that when Mr Gulley ran for office. Let the best candidates win. I wish the best of luck to all.
