Four SEIU locals are proud to stand together in endorsing Rep. Angie Nixon for the U.S. Senate. 💜✊

As a union member, former SEIU staffer, and fearless champion for working families, Angie has spent her career fighting for the people who keep Florida running — healthcare workers, public service workers, janitors, caregivers, and all working people.

From standing up for fair wages and quality healthcare to defending public services and workers’ rights, Angie never stops showing up for our communities.

That’s why and are united behind her campaign for U.S. Senate.

Florida deserves a fighter who knows what working people are up against — because she’s one of us.

As we mark , we honor the leadership of AAPI workers who continue to organize in the face of real challenges. From attacks on freedoms to rising costs to threats against immigrant families.

On May 12, lawmakers walk into a special session to decide Florida’s budget.

Behind those doors, it’s numbers on a page.

Out here, it’s rent. Groceries. Medicine.

It’s whether a nurse has backup on a night shift.

Whether a caregiver can afford gas to get to work.

Whether a family can breathe—or falls further behind.

And here’s the problem:

Too many politicians treat working people like an afterthought—while protecting corporate profits and political priorities.

They call it a budget.

But it’s a set of choices.

Who matters. Who doesn’t.

We’re not staying quiet while those choices get made.

We’re watching. We’re organizing. We’re ready to act.

📣 Stay with us this week for updates.
📣 Share this to remind them: Florida workers are paying attention.

Worker power is the strongest force on Earth.

You could feel it on May 1st.

Feet on pavement. Voices echoing down the block. Workers stepping into the street—not asking, but taking back what they’re owed.

Because here’s what people know in their gut:
Everything we rely on—hospitals, schools, buildings, farms—runs because workers show up.

And yet, billionaires keep raising prices… while paychecks stay tight.

They gamble with our lives.

We carry the cost.

That’s the tension you saw in the streets across Florida.

Workers demanding something simple: the freedom to afford a life.

And when workers move together like this?

They don’t just protest.

They shift power.

🔥 This is what it looks like when people stop waiting.
🔥 This is what it looks like when we fight back.

Share this if you believe workers should have more power than billionaires.

At 2:17 a.m., the hallway is quiet. A nurse checks a monitor. Adjusts a blanket. Whispers reassurance to someone who’s scared and can’t sleep. This is the work. Not just skill. Not just training. Care.

Florida’s nurses show up every day—through exhaustion, short staffing, and a system that too often pushes them to the edge. Hospital executives make the cuts. Nurses carry the consequences. And patients feel it.

But nurses are speaking up. Organizing. Fighting for safe staffing and better care—for all of us.

Because when nurses have what they need, patients are safer.

Today, we honor the ones who don’t clock out from caring.

💙 Drop a thank you below for a nurse.
💙 Share this to show them they’re not alone.

Last weeks decision is an attack on all of us. It will weaken working people’s ability to elect leaders who fight for our real needs, from affordable housing and good jobs to healthcare and safe neighborhoods.

Workers fight for MONEY, so we can have the POWER to demand the RESPECT that we deserve!

They want us broke, stressed out and distracted. We want food on our table, and some free time to relax.

But collective action comes first. Join us.
