good news!

The Mishawaka Historical Museum is pleased to announce the following sponsorships of artifacts and exhibits:

Gurley Leep: Military Heritage exhibit (2026)
Hahn Funeral Homes: Ball-Band exhibit (2026-2027)
Leliaert Insurance Agency: Main Junior High/Mishawaka High gym floor (2026)
Palmer Funeral Homes: Mishawaka High Auditorium chair (2026)
Grant Resor: St. Joseph School bell (2026)
Thorne Grodnik: Kamm & Schellinger Brewery exhibit (2026)

Pictured here is Grant Resor, a fourth-grade student at Emmons Elementary School. Grant started volunteering at the museum last summer and has continued to volunteer on Saturdays during the school year. Grant’s favorite historic artifact in the museum is the bell that was used at the old St. Joseph School from 1903-1958. Grant enjoys ringing the bell and explaining its history to our visitors. To honor Grant’s enthusiasm for Mishawaka history, his parents have sponsored the bell this year.
The museum thanks all of our sponsors for their generosity, which helps us be able to share our many artifacts and historic photos with visitors. We encourage you to patronize our corporate benefactors to show appreciation for their support of Mishawaka’s history.
