Trabuco Hills High School celebrated 605 graduates during its commencement ceremony on June 4 in the school's stadium, honoring a class distinguished by academic achievement, school involvement, athletic success, and service to the community.

The Class of 2026 amassed nearly $4 million in scholarships and merit awards, earning an impressive $3,969,734 in total scholarship funding. The graduating class included 56 International Baccalaureate Diploma candidates and six IB Certificate recipients. In addition, 315 graduates earned the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma, while 115 students received the State Seal of Biliteracy. The top 10 percent of the graduating class achieved GPAs ranging from 5.17 to 4.62.

Graduates will continue their educational journeys at institutions across the country, including highly selective universities such as Princeton University, Northwestern University, the University of Virginia, Boston College, New York University, Penn State, Purdue University, UC Berkeley, and the California Institute of Technology.

One of the ceremony's most meaningful traditions was the Unified Speech, delivered by Amedeo Miller, Brady Meade, and Brady Sugg. The presentation highlighted Trabuco Hills' commitment to Unified programs and the inclusive culture that has become a hallmark of the Mustang community.

Additional student remarks were delivered by ASB President Sonal Gill and Class Speaker Grant Jacobson, who reflected on the experiences, friendships, and memories that shaped the Class of 2026.

Principal Alicia Foulk congratulated graduates on their accomplishments while encouraging them to focus on the values that will guide them beyond high school.

"As you leave Trabuco Hills, remember that success is not defined only by achievements or accolades, but by the way you treat people, the way you respond to challenges, and the way you continue to grow throughout your life," Foulk said.

The evening celebrated not only academic success but also the character, perseverance, and leadership demonstrated by graduates throughout their high school careers. From rigorous coursework and athletic achievements to artistic pursuits and community involvement, members of the Class of 2026 made a lasting impact on the Trabuco Hills community.

As graduates turned their tassels and looked toward the future, Foulk reminded them that their journey was only beginning.

"Be curious. Be courageous. Stay connected to the people and values that matter most. And never underestimate the impact you can have on others," Foulk said. "Today is not the end of your story—it is the beginning of what comes next. Congratulations, Class of 2026. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang."

The Saddleback Valley Unified School District congratulates Trabuco Hills' Class of 2026 and celebrates the excellence, inclusion, and Mustang pride these graduates will carry into their next chapter.

El Toro High School celebrated 444 graduates during its commencement ceremony on June 4 in the stadium, honoring a class recognized for academic achievement, program excellence, and strong Charger pride.

The Class of 2026 earned more than $1.83 million in accepted merit and academic scholarships, reflecting a wide range of accomplishments across campus programs. The graduating class included 98 AP Capstone Diploma recipients, 49 STEAM Academy graduates, 68 State Seal of Biliteracy earners, and 13 National Honor Society members. El Toro’s AVID program also celebrated a 100% admission rate to four-year universities among its participating students.

Student speakers Azria Acosta and Julia Kennedy shared reflections on their experiences, highlighting friendships, growth, and the impact of their time at El Toro.

Principal Dr. Jimmy Martin, an El Toro alumnus, addressed graduates with a message centered on the lasting identity of being a Charger.

"At the beginning of the year, we asked you to be respectful, responsible, and kind anytime you were on 'ET Time,' meaning at school or school events," Martin said. "But tonight, I realize we were wrong about that. ET Time does not end at graduation. ET Time lasts the rest of your life, because as the saying goes, 'Once a Charger, always a Charger.' Class of 2026, thank you and, as always… Go Chargers!"

Following graduation, 59.8% of students plan to attend community college, 27.9% will enroll in four-year universities, 3.4% will attend trade schools, 3.9% will enter the military, and 5% will enter the workforce.

The ceremony marked both an ending and a continuation of identity, as graduates left El Toro prepared to carry forward the values, pride, and “ET Time” mindset into their next chapter. The Saddleback Valley Unified School District congratulates the Class of 2026 and celebrates their achievements and future success.
