Operation Helping Hands is a 501(c)(3) based out of Orange County, California with the goal to empower our community to give back by providing hygiene items and basic necessities to the homeless, housing insecure and those in need.

At just 22 years old, Trinity is a devoted mother of two young children who is working tirelessly to build a brighter future for her family. While balancing the demands of parenthood and college, she has faced significant financial and housing challenges, yet she has never lost sight of her goal.

Trinity is pursuing a degree in Child Development, driven by her dream of creating a stable career and providing her children with the security and opportunities every family deserves.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support of her Operation Helping Hands scholarship, Trinity can continue focusing on her education and moving closer to that dream.

So proud that OHH has successfully launched its Student Ambassador Program. Volunteer Ambassadors are assigned to each school to support and mentor our Student Scholarship Recepients. And what a great job they are doing. Day by day. Piece by piece. OHH is supporting college students to make the graduation dreams come true.

Please join us in congratulating Lia Perez from Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC ), one of our newest Operation Helping Hands scholarship recipients!

Lia has shown incredible determination in pursuing her education despite experiencing housing instability. While working toward her degree, she faced the uncertainty of not having a permanent place to call home, making it difficult to focus on her studies and plan for the future.

For a brief time, she experienced the stability that safe housing could provide, reinforcing just how important it was to achieving her educational goals. When that chapter came to an end, Lia remained determined to keep moving forward.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support of her Operation Helping Hands scholarship, Lia signed a lease on a place she can finally call her own.

Today, she can focus on building her future instead of worrying about where she'll sleep. Stories like Lia's remind us that when we invest in students, we invest in lives transformed.

Please join us in congratulating Jas Jempson from Mt. San Antonio College Mt. SAC , one of our newest Operation Helping Hands scholarship recipients!

Jas is a devoted mother who has shown incredible strength while rebuilding her life and pursuing her education. Like many students facing housing insecurity, the lack of a stable home made it difficult to focus on school and provide the consistency she wanted for her son.

Today, thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support of her Operation Helping Hands scholarship, Jas has signed the lease on her very own apartment. She and her son now have a safe, stable place to call home, giving her the opportunity to focus on earning her degree and creating a brighter future for her family.

Stories like Jas's remind us that education changes lives, but stable housing makes education possible.

As we celebrate Independence Day, let us remember that America's greatest strength has never been our politics, our wealth, or our differences. It has always been our ability to come together in times of need.

At Operation Helping Hands, we see every day what is possible when people choose empathy over division and service over self-interest. Lives are changed not by political parties, but by ordinary people stepping up to help one another.

This Fourth of July, may we reflect not only on the freedoms we enjoy, but also on our shared responsibility to care for one another. No matter our backgrounds, beliefs, or circumstances, we are all part of the same American story.

Since 2021, Andrew has experienced homelessness, most recently living out of a vehicle while pursuing his college education. Despite the daily challenges of not having stable housing, Andrew remained committed to his academic goals and never gave up on his dream of earning a degree.

Today, thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support of his Operation Helping Hands scholarship, Andrew has secured a room to rent in Irvine, providing him with the stability he needs to focus on his education and future.

Andrew's resilience, determination, and perseverance deeply inspired our scholarship committee. His story is a powerful reminder that when a community comes together, lives can truly be changed.
