Run Announcement 1 - Mile 600:

Tomorrow Night (Wednesday, 8/26) at 7:30PM ET (Weather Permitting), Zechariah will run 1-mile carrying his flag in honor of fallen Mission Police Department Officer Jorge Cabrera.

IMPORTANT: The Safety of Zechariah remains our #1 concern. Please be advised that for the time being, Zechariah's run will be dependent on Law Enforcement being present. Due to the current times, if we are unable to secure Law Enforcement for the run, the run will be postponed to a later date and time.

Anyone who joins Zechariah during the run will be required to adhere to Social Distancing Guidelines as set forth by the State of Florida. We will also be limiting the number of runners that can partake in each run to ensure the safety of all participants.

We encourage citizens and agencies from across the nation join our son tomorrow night in a 1-mile walk or run at 7:30PM ET (4:30PM PT) to help honor this fallen hero. Please be sure to adhere to local and federal government regulations regarding social distancing.

โ€ผ๏ธ Your health and safety remain top priority in the City of Mission. COVID-19 is spreading in our community, so the Mission City Council held an emergency meeting to address the recent spike. Cases nearly doubled in the last week. To protect you and your loved ones, the Council voted to implement extra safety measures for the next two weeks. But we all need to do our part. Wash your hands frequently, practice social distancing and avoid crowds, even those family get togethers. Stopping the spread starts at home! #MissionSafe ๐Ÿงผ๐Ÿšฐ๐Ÿงฝ๐Ÿฆ
