Thank you to our Crime Victims Liaison, Ms. Isela Marin, for your compassion, dedication, and exceptional service to victims in our community. Your commitment to making a difference does not go unnoticed. ๐Ÿ’œ

We are grateful to Isela Marin, Crime Victims Liaison with the Mission Police Department in Texas, for sharing the impact of emergency cell phones provided through 911 Cell Phone Bank.

These devices are often a critical lifeline for victims who have fled abusive situations and no longer have reliable communication. A safe phone can help someone reach law enforcement, emergency services, shelters, advocates, family members, and other support resources while they work toward safety and independence.

Partnerships with agencies like Mission Police Department make this work possible, helping us support vulnerable individuals while also promoting responsible reuse and recycling of electronic devices.

Visit www.911cellphonebank.org to learn how you can help vulnerable residents in your community.

Today, we recognize and celebrate Theresa Martinez for successfully completing her internship with the Mission Police Department Crime Victim Services Unit and our Crime Victims Liaison.

Throughout her internship, Theresa demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a strong commitment to serving victims of crime. Her dedication and willingness to learn made a meaningful impact on our team and the individuals we serve.

This internship opportunity was made possible through the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Grant, awarded to the Mission Police Department through the Office of the Governor of Texas. Programs like these provide valuable hands-on experience while strengthening the future of victim advocacy.

Thank you, Theresa, for your hard work, dedication, and the positive attitude you brought each day. We are grateful for your contributions and know you have a bright future ahead.

Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! We wish you continued success in all your future endeavors. You will truly be missed!๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค
