🚨 SCAM ALERT | MISSION POLICE DEPARTMENT 🚨

The Mission Police Department is warning the public about an ongoing phone scam targeting residents.

Scammers are calling individuals and falsely claiming there is a warrant for their arrest. They may ask for personal or financial information and are even using technology that can make the caller ID appear as though the call is coming from the Mission Police Department.

⚠️ These calls are NOT from Mission PD.

Please remember:

* 🚫 Do NOT provide personal, banking, or identifying information over the phone.
* 🚫 Do NOT send money or make payments to someone claiming you must pay to clear a warrant.
* 📵 Do NOT trust a call simply because the caller ID appears to show Mission Police Department.
* ☎️ Hang up immediately if you receive a suspicious call.

Mission Police will never call you and demand personal information or payment over the phone because of an alleged warrant.

Please share this warning with family members, friends, and especially anyone who may be vulnerable to phone scams. Stay alert and help us keep our community safe. 🚔
