Montana Smart Growth Coalition

Montana Smart Growth Coalition We believe that smart growth means prioritizing development in and around existing cities and towns by making it faster, easier, and more profitable.

Permanently closed.

The Montana Smart Growth Coalition was created in 1999 by a coalition of 40 diverse organizations to protect the things we all love about Montana as the state develops and grows. The Montana Smart Growth Coalition is a uniquely inclusive organization that works with people and groups from all sides to provide local communities with the tools they need to take control over their own future. We also

work to ensure that state policies do not encourage inefficient, sprawling development patterns that shift the hidden costs of growth to taxpayers, neighbors, and senior water rights holders.
