Summer Story Strolls schedule
No running in the halls!
Instead, we'll stroll around and through Bonner School next Wednesday in the first of the Bonner Milltown History Center's four summer story strolls.
Unlike the weekly strolls on Tuesday evenings last year, we'll be going every other Wednesday starting June 25.
We're also requesting minimal donations as we step into a new era of interpretation at the history center.
Here's the tentative 2025 schedule, all on Wednesdays and all starting at 6 p.m. We'll carry on the popular feature of sitting around chatting and enjoying refreshments at the end.
June 25 - Bonner School & school grounds. Meet at the gazebo between the school and Catholic church parking lots.
July 9 - Black Bridge & Milltown North. Meet at the Gateway Area of Milltown State Park.
July 23 - Bandmann Flats & Milltown State Park Overlook. Meet at the state park lot on Deer Creek Road, across from the shooting range (1142 Deer Creek Road).
Aug. 6 - Bonner North, Hotel Margaret Park & Kettlehouse. Meet at the Bonner Milltown History Center next to the Bonner Post Office, 9397 MT Highway 200.

Yet to be scheduled are Saturday morning history hikes of 2-4 miles!through the summer and fall. Possibilities:

— Whitaker Bridge to Ninemile Prairie
