The Western Montana All Hazards Incident Management Team is currently responding to the recent flood and wind events in Lincoln County in support of local response efforts. We are glad to be here and to assist the community. The team is working out of the Lincoln County Emergency Operations Center in close coordination with local, state, and federal partners, with efforts focused on response, supporting recovery and setting local agencies up for continued success after we demobilize.

The Western Montana All-Hazards Incident Management Team would like to recognize the outstanding support provided by the Anaconda Job Corps on the Green Mountain Garnet Fires and during many other wildfire incidents.

Their mobile kitchen, Type 2 Initial Attack crew, and hardworking camp crews play a vital role in wildfire response across the region. These teams bring professionalism, reliability, and mission-ready support that directly contribute to the success of operations on the ground.

We’re grateful for their continued partnership and the critical services they provide to fire teams working in some of the most challenging conditions.

In July 2025, the Western Montana All-Hazards Incident Management Team successfully completed operations on the Green Mountain and Garnet Fires. Both fires were fully controlled and secured, allowing the team to conclude its mission and transition management back to the local unit.

The staff, partners, and residents of The City of North Port, Florida have been wonderful hosts to our team. We've made lots of new friends as we lend a hand in picking up the pieces left by Hurricane Ian.

The state of Florida has requested that a team of Missoula city and county emergency responders prolong their stay to continue helping in the recovery of Hurricane Ian.

The Team is still on assignment in Carbon County managing the floods. Sever damage to homes, roads, bridges and infrastructure were caused when several rivers flooded in the county.
