The Trump administration is politicizing science, trying to change rules so that president's can cancel research that was started by previous administrations and funded by Congress. They also want to control scientific publications and presentations. This move would turn the US agencies that lead the world in science into a joke, and a waste of government money. Stupid rule--we need to invest in college programs based on the value of the programs to society, not based on how much money the graduates will earn.

If an undergraduate program's graduates don't earn more than workers who never went to college, that program could be cut off from federal student loans. But is a degree just about making more money?
