Reunion Friends:

When Thomas found our group and reached out as a Child of the 75th, I had no idea he could just up and come to the reunion last minute.

But what an incredible blessing!
It is always good to find one of our own, but we were so impressed by his innate skill and his good spirit.

All weekend long , we’d find him quietly sitting and sketching. Please check out his work! (Scroll down a bit, Military Heritage Museum)

Capturing the world one sketch at a time.

Jo Schaffel, I’ve opened this post for a place to upload the photos we discussed.

We would be happy to look them over to see who the group might recognize!

I knew MSG Williams and Chief for many years while serving in the 75th Division, Marcy was able to attend a reunion in New Orleans and it was amazing to see her. Marcy will be truly missed!

Saying goodbye to another friend, Marcy Williams. She and Barbara Hite, Ruth Hurst and Elaine Gaskamp were my inspiration and my mentors. I met them at a meeting in June of 2004 and knew I wanted to be like them! Marcy you were amazing and you had a fitting and lovely send off with 2 police chiefs, 3 city councilmembers, Pct 4 and a host of friends and family. In the end we are left with our memories. The chaplain talked about re-centering your life after losing a loved one which really resonated with me That’s a journey for sure. ❤️🙏❤️

Hello, Friends!

Thank you for your personal dedication, sacrifice and expense incurred to spend another special week with our 75th Family.

Though a bit smaller in attendance this year, our group had a wonderful time in a lovely hotel and interesting tours and activities. As always, those evening hours laughing with everyone in the hospitality room build community and great memories.

I’m so grateful for the leadership of Ralph Steiner these past two years and excited for the drive and vision Pascual Castro has in store for our next two.

I know we will be enfolding many more of the soldiers from the more recent iterations of the 75th into our organization and building a solid future together based on our strong shared heritage.

On a personal note, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your grace and kindness to me if you noticed some hiccups in the program. Most now know that my husband of 33 years was diagnosed one month ago with stage 4 Lymphoma and that I dropped the ball there toward the end of preparations.

Our good news today is that the special 72 hour regimen DID bust up enough of the thickness to avoid surgery, and the lung drain will be removed tomorrow! Praise the LORD! 🙌🏼

I am a proud “child of the 75th,” because my adoptive Daddy Krueger was in L company with Jerri’s Dad Ned. I am honored and so blessed to be named the Person of the Year for 2025. I know Daddy Krueger would be so very proud that I’ve continued to love and serve his people.

To the Core group of Crazies that hustle behind the scenes to make the details and the fun parts happen: Gina Decurtis-gorman, Mary Ramsey, Jerri Berry, and Carla Vint- Thank you! It wouldn’t happen without you. And if it could- it wouldn’t be as great!

Make every effort necessary to get involved next year.
You’ll be glad you did!
