Schiff is conveniently located in the safe, quiet neighborhoods near the "front" of Sienna Plantation, providing easy access to both industry in Sugar Land via Hwy 6 and to the Medical Center in Houston, courtesy of the Fort Bend Tollway. As a result, Schiff attracts professionals from around the world. Fort Bend County is the most diverse county in the country, and our student body proudly reflec

ts this incredible diversity. Children have the gift of learning about the world by simpling playing together on the playground. Front desk staff quickly learns parent faces and names. Teachers greet parents and students warmly in the halls. The school is physically organized by grade level, facilitating communities within the larger student body. The principal is warm, respectful, and responsive to parent requests and concerns. When you visit, you'll notice quiet, colorful hallways. Students walk to lunch and outclasses (LAMMPPS: Library, Art, Music, PE, Science) with "fins and bubbles," the staff's clever way of keeping children's hands and mouths productively engaged. Bright bulletin boards recognize star students, super staff, and special events. If you come in the morning, you'll catch Finz TV, the school-sponsored, student-led morning announcements broadcast in every classroom. On any day, at any time, you'll find parents volunteering: in the VIPS room to create cut-outs and posters for classrooms and halls, during kindergarten lunch to help little hands open packaging, in the library during Book Fairs, in the Shark Store where students use Sand Dollars earned for exemplary behavior to purchase goodies, in the staff lounge setting up teacher appreciation luncheons, and in the gym helping fourth graders fasten knee pads and roller blades during PE. Schiff is truly a school community dedicated to students.

🎉🎓 CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JAN SCHIFF ELEMENTARY 5TH GRADE CLASS OF 2026! 🎓🎉
What an absolute whirlwind of fun celebrating our amazing graduates! The PTO and our incredible parent sponsors teamed up to send this group off in style, and boy, did we celebrate BIG! 🚀✨
From splashing around at the pool party 🏊‍♂️☀️ to enjoying a delicious luncheon with friends 🍔🥗, the memories made were priceless. And can we talk about that epic Mardi Gras GLOW Party?! 💜💚💛 It was glowing room only!
Our 5th graders danced the night away with:
🎧 A rockin' DJ & packed dance floor
📸 Fun poses at the photobooth
🌟 A radiant GLOW bar & temporary tattoos
🍧 Sweet treats including beignets and sno cones
🕹️ Tons of awesome games
🎒 Swag Alert! 🎒 To keep the celebration going, each graduate was gifted a custom yard sign to display proudly at home, plus a brand-new gym bag and gym locker to get them fully prepared for the next big adventure!
Sharks, we are so incredibly proud of you. We know your creativity, kindness, and hard work will shine bright as you enter middle school. You are going to absolutely EXCEL! 🌟📚💪
