Mitchell CASA - First Circuit CASA

Mitchell CASA - First Circuit CASA CASA trains and supports volunteers to advocate for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers are a consistent voice in court.

We serve Aurora, Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Davison, Douglas, Hanson, Hutchinson & McCook counties. Nearly 700,000 children experience abuse or neglect each year. Instead of playing with neighbors and making happy family memories, they’re adjusting to new foster homes and transitioning to new schools. That’s a heavy burden for a child to carry. With a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volu

nteer dedicated to their case, America’s most vulnerable children will have someone speaking up for their best interests. With your support, more children will have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.

As we begin June, we want to take a moment to recognize the important role parents and caregivers play in a child’s life. Raising children comes with challenges, and having support along the way can make all the difference. Strong families help build strong communities. 💙

Adventure and making a difference go hand in hand. Judene recently shared memories from her CASA fundraising adventures with Scott, including a fishing trip and a hot air balloon ride.

As Judene put it: “Scott and I had heaps of fun with our CASA fundraising adventures.”

Moments like these remind us that support for CASA creates meaningful experiences while helping children and families in our community. Thank you, Judene, for your generosity, your heart, and for being part of the CASA mission.
