Today, we pause to remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As firefighters and EMS providers, we understand the meaning of service, sacrifice, and standing ready when others call for help. This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave everything to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Please take a moment today to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.

From all of us at Mitchell Fire & EMS, thank you to those who served and to the families who continue to carry their legacy forward. 🇺🇸🚒

EMS Week is a reminder of the dedication, sacrifice, and professionalism shown every day by EMS providers across the country.

From the routine calls to the worst moments in someone’s life, EMTs and paramedics are there 24/7 — answering the call without hesitation. They work long hours, miss holidays and family time, and still continue to show compassion to complete strangers on their worst days.

To all EMS personnel: thank you for your commitment to serving others, your calm under pressure, and the difference you make in our communities every single day.

This week, and every week, we appreciate you. 🚑

Strong northwesterly winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph with low relative humidity values in the afternoon will lead to dangerous fire weather conditions. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for the entire area from noon to 9 PM. Avoid outdoor burning and make sure to dispose of any ci******es properly!
