Americanism
Promoting pride in country, respect for the flag and appreciation of Americans’ freedoms are the primary purposes of Exchange’s Americanism programs. We organize the city fireworks display, hang American flags at businesses on holidays, put up the Flag Field 3 times per year, and hand out small flags at the Stampede Rodeo parade (GiveAKidAFlagToWave) to promote Americanism in Mitchell.
Youth Programs
America’s young people are its most precious resource. We make a difference in the youth of Mitchell through college scholarships, service recognition, and sponsorship of Park and Rec activities, Hockey, SPOOF, and Junior Achievement. Community Service
We have a goal of making Mitchell a better place to live. Through sponsorship of the Heart and Sole Cancer Walk, recognition of the Police and Firefighters, and donations to Love Feast, Boy Scouts, United Way, Salvation Army, and After Prom, we strive to make a difference in Mitchell. Prevention of Child Abuse
The National Exchange club provides a variety of public awareness materials designed to help inform and increase awareness of child abuse and how it can be prevented. In Mitchell, we raise awareness of child abuse and promote prevention. We do so by handing out information during our Believe in the Blue campaign and donating to Second Chance High School, CASA, the Safehouse, and the Abbott House.
