Have you returned your ballot yet? There are no in-person polling stations in Moab this year. In order to vote, you must either mail your ballot (postmarked by November 7) or take it to the County Clerk's office on November 8. If you did not receive a ballot in the mail, you can request a provisional ballot from the County Clerk. If you haven't voted yet, make sure you vote FOR Prop 4!

The Board of Education's mission for the voted local levy is as follows: “In order to cultivate the best possible learning environment for students, the Grand County Board of Education has proposed a Voted Local Levy that would allow the district to move toward providing salaries comparable to the state average while supporting programs essential to student learning.”

A vote for Prop 4 is a vote for funds that will stay in Moab (and out of the state’s control), and go directly toward increasing educator salaries. How can we guarantee that the money will go to salaries? Because the Board of Education has committed to doing just that through their levy mission statement, which is legally binding. Supporting our local educators (and students) is the top priority.

Republicans and Democrats don't always see eye to eye, but when it comes to supporting Grand County's educators, that's something they can agree on. Prop 4 has recently received endorsements from both local parties.
