Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah The Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah provides affordable housing options in southern Utah.

The Housing Authority of Southeastern Utah (HASU) provides affordable homes to low-income families in the Grand and San Juan Counties. We help low income families realize the dream of home-ownership through our Mutual Self Help Program and our CROWN rent to own program. We also manage the Virginian Apartments and the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8).

Staffing update at HASU! Ben Riley, longtime Director of HASU, is moving to western Colorado. Have no fear! Ben plans on staying with HASU and working remotely. Sam Newman has taken over the role of Deputy Director and will be moving into the Director role in the coming year.

HASU has continued to grow over the years and build a lot of new housing for our community. We look forward to continuing to expand and provide more housing services under Sam in the years to come!
