The Lighthouse Counseling Center The staff provides counseling for children, teenagers, adults, individuals, couples, and families.

Play therapy, CPT, Equine assisted Play Therapy and TF-CBT available. The Lighthouse celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary of providing individuals, families and groups with counseling services in 2010. Services offered:

Individual counseling
Family and couple counseling
Group counseling
Anger Management and Batterer Prevention Programs
Parenting Classes

It’s OK to not be OK

You’re allowed to feel. Cry. Scream. Hibernate. It’s OK to express your emotions. Crying and being vulnerable are not weak. Vulnerability is brave and courageous, being a role model for others.

Being OK with not being OK helps to reduce the stigma. You don’t need permission to listen to your body, rest if you need to. It takes a lot of energy to try and be OK all the time.

Eat a cookie in the shower if you want. 🤷‍♀️ I did. Why? Because I can! And I’m OK with not being OK.
