(Moberly, MO – 8/14/26) A temporary disruption in water service will occur in the 100 block of S Williams St. on Saturday, August 15th, for a water valve replacement in the area. Water service will be restored after repairs are complete. The outage affects the following area:

100-200 block of S Williams St.
(Outage may affect surrounding areas)

If customers experienced low water pressure, or had no water, in their area, there will be a 48-hour Boil Advisory once water service is restored. Boil advisories are due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system. During an advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.

(Moberly, MO – 8/13/26) A temporary disruption in water service occurred today on Fowler Road due to a water main break in the area. Water service will be restored after repairs are complete. The outage affects the following area:

Fowler Road between Robertson Road and N Morley Street
(Outage may affect surrounding areas)

If customers experienced low water pressure, or had no water, in their area, there will be a 48-hour Boil Advisory once water service is restored. Boil advisories are due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system. During an advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.

UPDATE (8/13/26 8:15AM): Phone system services are restored.

A scheduled maintenance outage at 7AM on Thursday, August 13th, will impact all City office phone systems for approximately 2 hours. Service will resume after maintenance is complete.

This does not impact 911. Residents may still dial 911 for an emergency. For non-emergency concerns, please try the call again after 9AM.

The City of Moberly is taking applications for a full-time Utility Field Data Specialist.

This position performs field investigations, customer service functions, and data collection for the City of Moberly's water, wastewater, distribution, collection, and stormwater assets. It helps identify and document water service line materials and compile data for review by the Superintendent, conducts inspections as needed including construction observation and land disturbance permit inspections, and performs project tracking as necessary.
