Today too many people ALMOST experience Easter….Moses almost made it to the Promised Land because of a lack of patience and trust ruled his heart instead of the holiness of God—after all he endured in life he would only almost enter the land. Too often, we are living in the misery of the ALMOST—almost committed, almost surrendered, or almost serving God, or almost healing wounds are at times almost unbearable. GOD CALLS US OUT OF THE “ALMOST” AND INTO HIS FULNESS IN OUR LIVED—THEN WE CAN EXPERIENCE EASTER EVERY DAY! (John 10:10)

It seems that no matter who you talk to these days you’ll hear phrases like, “this world is nuts…broken…evil!” “people have gone off the rails…” “where is common sense and 2 + 2 = 4?” “I don’t understand why…_________ (fill in the blank.)”

Remember, It Is Spiritual. It’s always spiritual. Everything mentioned above is the visible expression of the invisible spiritual war. We are not fighting people. Ephesians 6:12 describes this perfectly, “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” The spiritual battle that began in the Garden of Eden; the spiritual battle that Jesus won on the cross … ends with one conclusion: because Jesus won; therefore, we win. Jesus has authorized and deputized every believer to operate as a victor in His Name. So, while the world is crazy and everything seems to be upside down, your strength and victory is in knowing who you belong to, in knowing that you are on the winning side and in keeping your joy.

Many people tell me in pastoral counseling: “I can’t forgive. You don’t understand. I tried and I can’t!”

THE REALITY IS, you can forgive but in the moment you don’t want to—you want to hold the grudge—I know it seems impossible through the eyes of pain, but forgiveness is a force of our will—WE CAN CHOOSE TO FORGIVE!

We encourage you to declare over your life the next couple of days Mark 11:25 as we prepare for Communion Sunday at Family Life Fellowship: “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is also in Heaven May forgive you your trespasses.”

TAP INTO THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE! Isaiah 11:2 we find the “Spirit of Knowledge’” is one of the 7 Spirits of God—You can gain knowledge through reading or experience; or awareness or reasoning; but the Spirit of Knowledge can take your knowing to a whole new level—the word “knowledge” in Hebrews 11:2 means knowledge, perception, skill, discernment, understanding and wisdom—AN ATTRACTIVE PACKAGE DEAL!

The Spirit of Knowledge is not book knowledge, but a more intimate understanding of who the Lord is and His ways—with this kind knowledge the enemy of your soul can’t stop you—You can tap onto the Spirit of knowledge by praying in the Spirit.
