☠️ 🚫DON'T BUY HARTZ ULTRA GUARD FLEA MEDICINE ⁉️🚫☠️
I damn near lost my dog yesterday.😭😭 I gave him a bath and applied one of those Hartz Ultra Guard flea treatment. Never will I ever do that again, that flea treatment needs to be REMOVED & BANNED from all stores. After I applied the treatment a hour or so went by and I noticed I hadn't seen my dog. It's dark and I'm calling for him and he normally runs right to me so I walk off the porch calling for him again and I could hear heavy panting in one of the flower beds, so I rush to find my dog having a seizure, unable to walk or anything. I run inside freaking the hell out screaming for someone to help him. My daughter thank God she was here helped calm me down so I could think about what I could do to help him. We got him inside and I instantly washed the area where I applied the flea treatment. I gave him a melatonin, table spoon of honey and a Tylenol PM. I took a shirt and used it to cover his eyes for a good 5 minute in a dark room, I did that off and on for a good 30 minutes it was helping. He was no longer in convulsions, but still had tremors, confusion, heavy breathing and rapid heart rate. I was able to get him to drink water, but was too scared to leave him, so someone brought me some liquid Benadryl I gave him 5ml of that and he's slowly recovering. As of now everything seems to be getting back to normal. He's responsive, normal breathing, normal heart rate, drinking water and now just ate. No throwing up or diarrhea so far, I sure hope that never happens again. I thought I was loosing him seriously, definitely scared the s**t outta me! I definitely can't imagine how my life would be without him here. A simple flea treatment almost took him away and I feel for anyone that has experienced this situation and lost their furfam! Best believe that Hartz Ultra Guard will be hearing from me something has to be done about that BS before it happens to any other animal!!!
