Recap of the Barbara Mabrity’s most recent patrol!
After the landfall of Hurricane Milton the crew of the Barbara Mabrity set out for Tampa Bay, FL to assist the USCGC Joshua Appleby in assuring the safe transiting through Floridas affected ports by verifying and correcting hazardous aids to navigation.
Lastly shoutout to the USCGC Walnut for collaborating to get the Morse Alpha Buoy back on our deck to set it back on its assigned position!

This week the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) is celebrating World Marine Aids to Navigation Day. The World ATON Day message is dedicated to Dr. Sally Snowman, who was an Auxiliarist and the Coast Guard's last lighthouse keeper.
