As a Cost Price Manager at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding, Ronald is passionate about continuous growth, collaboration, and serving his community through leadership.🙌

He applied to Leadership Mobile to expand his network, learn from professionals across different industries, and gain a deeper understanding of the issues shaping Mobile’s future. 🥳

Meet Cynthia “Cindy” Knowlton, a member of our 2026 Leadership Mobile class!

Cindy is also a member of the Economic development project group, her project will be presented on September 10th, so make sure to come watch! 🤩

As County Extension Director for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System through Auburn University, Cindy brings nearly 30 years of experience in youth development, leadership, and community engagement. 😊

She joined Leadership Mobile to strengthen her leadership skills, broaden her perspective, and continue making a positive impact in both her organization and the community.

Cindy loves Mobile’s strong sense of community, rich culture, vibrant traditions, and amazing food. Known for being approachable, thoughtful, and community-focused, she values building trust and making a difference where it matters most.

We are delighted to report that 13 different projects were proposed to the Leadership Mobile Class of 2026 to consider through our RFP process this year. This mighty class of 30 recently broke into 6 teams during their mid-point retreat: arts & culture, economic development, education, environment, government, and health & human services and will create a service project in each of them.

We are expectant of very good things when they present those projects to the community on Thursday, September 10th. Mark your calendars and plan to join us- you won't be disappointed.

Meet Phillip Logan Cowart, a member of our 2026 Leadership Mobile class! 🥳

As Vice President of Finance for the Clinic Enterprise System at Infirmary Health, Phillip is passionate about learning more about the inner workings of Mobile and its surrounding communities while building meaningful connections along the way.🙌

Through Leadership Mobile, Phillip has gained valuable insight into how local communities interact and rely on one another, along with friendships he may not have made otherwise. A fun fact about Phillip: he has traveled every mile of the Alabama River by boat! Congratulations Phillip and thank you for your positive impact on our city! 🤩

Join us tomorrow, May 20th, for our next Mobile Bay Green Drinks from 5-7 p.m. @ Braided River BrewingCo. for: Nature on Tap!!!

This month, we will welcome representatives from not one, not two, but THREE local nature preserves: Fairhope's Flying Creek Nature Preserve, The City of Foley Graham Creek Nature Preserve, and the newly opened AWF Delta & Bay Conservation Center on the causeway.

Networking happens before and after our speakers begin at 5:45 p.m. Bring a friend and learn about each preserve's history and very exciting futures!
