Empowering People is dedicated to providing a consistent, uplifting presence for community members in and around Mobile, AL via weekly gatherings where we are able to share meals, connect, build relationships, and obtain emotional, spiritual, and physical support, laying the foundation for healing and meaningful change for both individuals and the community at large.

EMPOWERING PEOPLE, a project of One More Moment, has been serving meals and distributing clothing and personal care items to those in need at Cathedral Square Park in downtown Mobile for the past two and a half years. The outreach takes place every Sunday, rain or shine, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. For more information, text 251-644-8562.

One More Moment is a nationwide, parent-led nonprofit organization founded by a mother and her son to support, connect, and empower parents and families. As parents, the organization emphasizes that there is far more that unites families than divides them, regardless of the challenges their children may face.
