🌟 Building, Teamwork, & Problem-Solving in 4th Grade! 🌟
Mrs. Greene’s 4th graders have been busy during their first two weeks of school with multiple team-building and family-building activities!
From Hide & Seek Puzzle Building, to working together to carefully read directions and build a scientist, our Shining Stars have been practicing communication, cooperation, and perseverance. 🔎🧩👩‍🔬
Then, came the challenge to Save the Ducks! 🦆 Students worked together and used the engineering design process to come up with solutions. They didn’t just stop when they had an idea. They decided to upgrade their design, making thoughtful changes based on what they wanted to accomplish.
We are so proud of the way Mrs. Greene’s class is learning that when we work together, communicate, and never give up, we can solve big problems! 🌟

We are so excited to celebrate our grandparents with a special lunch!
•All grades will participate, two separate days.
⭐️RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED ⭐️
•Reservation forms and payment are due no later than Wednesday, September 8th.
•Please send money/form with your child. One form per student. We cannot accept money in the office.
•Adult visitor price is $6.00 cash (correct change) or checks made payable to Griggs Elementary School.
•There is an option of not eating, but still attending. If the grandparent will not be eating, no payment is needed. We still need a form completed.
•Students do not need to pay. Sorry, we can not pull siblings.
•Please no outside food in fast food or restaurant packaging.
•Grandparents will park on the asphalt by the gym. Then, proceed to the covered pavilion to sign in and meet their student.
•Please arrive 10 minutes prior to lunch time for check in.
•Menu for 9/10: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes w/gravy, green beans, & dinner roll.
