The OPG / Old Priest Grade Howdy! Let me introduce myself. I'm Old Priest Grade, a narrower road and the original highway 120 to Yosemite National Park. The OPG™ 2011

I was here a long time before my brother, New Priest Grade. My road climbs from about 910 feet (280 m) AMSL elevation to about 2,450 feet (750 m) at Priest Station, California, over a distance of about 2.7 miles (4.3 km).

Yosemite National Park is closed to tourists through Friday, February 20, 2026. Please check back to find out if this PARK ALERT gets lifted.

Yosemite National Park is closed through Friday due to heavy snowfall and falling trees. Visitors with lodging reservations may enter the park through the Hwy. 140 (Arch Rock) entrance.
