Happy Independence Day from all of us at County Line Fire Department! 🇺🇸

As you celebrate, please help keep our community safe by following a few simple reminders:

🎆 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible. If using consumer fireworks, follow all local laws, keep a bucket of water or hose nearby, and never allow young children to handle fireworks.
🔥 Never leave grills, fire pits, or campfires unattended, and make sure they are completely extinguished before leaving.
🚗 If you’re traveling, buckle up, avoid distractions, and never drive under the influence. Plan for a safe ride home if you’ll be celebrating.
💧 Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks from the heat.
🐾 Keep pets indoors if possible, as loud fireworks can be frightening.

If an emergency happens, don’t hesitate to call 911. Our firefighters and first responders are here to serve our community 24/7.

🚨🏠 FREE SMOKE DETECTORS AVAILABLE! 🏠🚨

County Line Fire Department is excited to announce that we have received a supply of smoke detectors from the North Carolina Office of the State Fire Marshal! 🔥❤️

Working smoke detectors save lives, and we want to help ensure every home in our community is protected.

👨‍🚒 This Saturday, June 6th, our firefighters will be out in the community installing smoke detectors at no cost for residents within the County Line Fire Department district.

✅ Have an older detector that needs replacing?
✅ Know a neighbor, family member, or friend who could benefit from one?
