🐾🧡 PAW-SITIVE OFFICE REFERRALS! 🧡🐾

We are so proud to celebrate this week’s Paw-sitive Office Referral winners! These Tigers were caught showing what it means to represent South Davie Middle School with pride! 🐯

🐾 Isaac Markland showed incredible RESPONSIBILITY by completing ALL of his assignments this week—even while battling a back-to-school sickness! Way to push through and stay committed, Isaac!

🐾 Sophia Theriault showed RESPECT and KINDNESS when she noticed a classmate needed help and offered a hand without even being asked. Those small moments make a BIG difference! ❤️

🐾 Shana Link brought the EFFORT this week, giving 110% every single day! That kind of determination and work ethic is what Tiger Pride is all about! 💪

🎉 **What a GREAT First Week of School!** 🐯💙

Our students have jumped right into a year of learning, growing, and building connections! During our first week, students have focused on:

🤝 **Teamwork** — learning that we are stronger when we work together
🏫 **Community** — creating a school where everyone feels connected and valued
🌱 **Growth Mindset** — understanding that challenges help us learn and grow
📚 **Ownership of Learning** — encouraging students to take an active role in their success
🎯 **Goal Setting** — setting academic and personal goals for the year ahead

And our students weren’t the only ones learning and growing! 😄 Some of our staff took a little break during planning to have some fun trying out the **Backward Challenge**! There’s always room for a little laughter and team bonding along the way! 😂🙌

We are proud of the strong start our students and staff have made and can’t wait to see all that we **learn, grow, and achieve together** this year!

Mrs. McClamrock’s math classes put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test with a fun team-building challenge! Students used only **string and a rubber band** to stack cups into a design—**no touching the cups with their hands allowed!** 😲

Success took communication, patience, creativity, and most importantly, **TEAMWORK!** 💪👏

We love seeing our Tigers working together, thinking outside the box, and having fun while learning! 🧡🐯
