Narcotics Arrest following Pursuit

Sheriff JD Hartman states:
On June 9, 2026, Detectives from the Narcotics Divisions of both Davie County Sheriff’s Office and Iredell County Sheriff’s Office were working along Highway 64, near the gambling establishment, in Davie County. Detectives attempted to stop a vehicle in the parking lot of the gambling establishment but the vehicle fled, driving around the back of the building and onto Highway 64. Detectives began pursuit, following the vehicle towards Iredell County. The occupants of the vehicle were observed throwing various items out of the vehicle along the roadway, including plastic baggies of narcotics and a weight scale. The pursuit continued into Iredell County, where Iredell County Deputies deployed a stop stick on the roadway, puncturing the tires of the vehicle. The vehicle stopped on Crater Road and both suspects were apprehended by the Davie County Sheriff’s Office.
Numerous baggies of methamphetamine and co***ne were recovered along the roadway. Detectives seized over 600 grams of methamphetamine, 30 grams of co***ne, 20 Klonopin pills, 2 Oxycodone pills, and $10,435 in cash.
The driver, Emily Ann Millsaps, and passenger, Abraham Valadez, were both taken into custody and transported to Davie County Detention Center.
Millsaps was charged with the following: Level 3 Trafficking of Methamphetamine by Possession, Level 3 Trafficking of Methamphetamine by Manufacturing, Level 3 Trafficking of Methamphetamine by Transportation, Conspire to Traffic Methamphetamine, Level 1 Trafficking Co***ne by Possession, Level 1 Trafficking of Co***ne by Transportation, Level 1 Trafficking Co***ne by Manufacturing, PWIMSD Methamphetamine, PWISD Co***ne, PWIMSD Schedule II Controlled Substance, PWIMSD Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Co***ne, Felony Flee and Elude Arrest with Motor Vehicle, Felony Alter/Steal/Destroy Criminal Evidence, Felony Maintain a Vehicle for Controlled Substances, Misdemeanor Fail to Heed for Light or Siren, Misdemeanor Resisting Public Officer, Misdemeanor Assault on a Government Official, Misdemeanor Driving While License Revoked, Misdemeanor Simple Possession Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession Schedule IV Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Emily Ann Millsaps was issued no bond for all charges and is scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on June 18, 2026.
Valadez was charged with Level 3 Trafficking of Methamphetamine by Possession, Level 3 Trafficking of Methamphetamine by Manufacturing, Level 3 Trafficking of Methamphetamine by Transportation, Conspire to Traffic Methamphetamine, Level 1 Trafficking Co***ne by Possession, Level 1 Trafficking of Co***ne by Transportation, Level 1 Trafficking Co***ne by Manufacturing, PWIMSD Methamphetamine, PWISD Co***ne, PWIMSD Schedule II Controlled Substance, PWIMSD Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Co***ne, Felony Alter/Steal/Destroy Criminal Evidence, Felony Maintain a Vehicle for Controlled Substances, Misdemeanor Simple Possession Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession Schedule IV Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Abraham Valadez was issued a $175,000 secured bond for all charges and is scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on June 18, 2026.

Suspects charged with theft from Tractor Supply

Sheriff J.D. Hartman states: On June 5, 2026 at 3:44 pm, Davie County Sheriff Office responded to Tractor Supply located at 1029 Yadkinville Road, Mocksville, to a larceny call. The complainant reported a male came into the store and placed multiple items underneath his shirt and into his pants then left the store without paying. When the suspect went past the front door, the anti-theft alarm went off and he left in a black Nissan Altima. Deputies located the Nissan Altima on Interstate 40 East at Mile marker 175 and stopped the vehicle. All the stolen items were recovered in the back seat of the vehicle with the tags still on them. The suspect was identified as Andre Antonio Dunlap, male, age: 64, of the 2000 block of Kersey Street, Greensboro, NC. Dunlap was charged with misdemeanor larceny. Deputies discovered active warrants for his arrest from Guilford County for habitual larceny and Alamance County for failure to appear on felony. Dunlap was placed in Davie County Detention Center under a total bond of $30,000. Dunlap has a court date of July 9, 2026 in Davie District Court. The driver was identified as John Roval Murphy, male, age: 64, of the 500 block of Tipperary Drive, Greensboro, NC. Murphy was arrested and charged with misdemeanor aid and abet a larceny and driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. Murphy was served a warrant from Forsyth County for misdemeanor larceny. Murphy was placed in Davie County Detention Center under a $4000 secured bond. Murphy has a court date of July 9, 2026 in Davie District Court. This case is still under investigation and more charges may be issued.

Larceny Arrest

On May 28, 2026, the Davie County Sheriffs’ Office received a call for service in reference to a past larceny that occurred at a residence in the 200 block of Ivy Circle in Bermuda Run. The community officer assigned to Bermuda Run was assigned the reported larceny and started an investigation with the assistance of patrol deputies.
During the investigation, Deputies discovered that over $1,000 worth of decorative plants were stolen from a greenhouse located behind a residence. Deputies recovered video footage from the scene and observed two males entering the greenhouse and disabling the cameras multiple nights in a row.
Deputies were able to identify one of the suspects as Aaron Aragon, a 49-year-old male, also of the 200 block of Ivy Circle in Bermuda Run. Warrants for Aragon were obtained for the following charges: Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Felony Conspiracy. Aragon was also on supervised post release with the Department of Adult Corrections for a Felony Larceny that occurred in 2024.
Aragon was arrested without incident in Bermuda Run later in the day on May 28, 2026. Aragon was also served with a post-release violation by Department of Adult Corrections. Aragon received a $10,000 secured bond for the new charges and received no bond for the post-release violation. Aragon is scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on June 11, 2026.
During the investigation, Deputies also identified the second offender in this case as Robert Vermeulen, a 30-year-old male, of Lexington, North Carolina. Vermeulen was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and Felony Conspiracy and has an active warrant for his arrest at this time.

Sgt. Steele is the first officer from our Detention Center to complete this certificate.

Deputy Money also received his Intermediate Law Enforcement Certificate which is a professional award given to law enforcement personnel who meet eligibility requirements that combine formal education, professional training and work experience. Sheriff JD Hartman announces on May 26, 2026, the Davie County Narcotics Division, Davie County Criminal Investigation Division, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation assisted the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections with searches at several locations throughout Davie County. During the searches Narcotics Detectives located Methamphetamine, Co***ne, Fentanyl, SCH II pills, 2 fi****ms, and several items of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives took Raymond Clay Snow, age 65, into custody from the 100 block of Royall Lane, Mocksville, and he was charged with 1 count of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, and 1 count of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Snow was issued a $3,500.00 secured bond and he is scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on June 11, 2026.
Detectives took Steven Bernard Fowler and Billy Ray Redmond Jr., into custody from the 200 block of Duke Street, Cooleemee, and they were both charged with 1 count of Felony Possession with the Intent to Sell and/or Deliver Methamphetamine, 1 count of Felony Possession with the Intent to Sell and/or Deliver Co***ne, 1 count of Felony Maintaining a Drug Dwelling, and 1 count of Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Redmond was issued a $20,000.00 secured bond and Fowler issued a $15,000.00 secured bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on June 11, 2026.
While Detectives were on their way to a location, a driver of a black in color Hyundai Tucson, Jason Perry Henrickson Jr., male, age: 26, of the 200 block of Fonso Way, Mocksville, passed a cement truck on a double yellow line on Junction Road and was driving head on towards a Detective. The Detective immediately turned around and tried to stop the driver, Jason Henrickson Jr.. Henrickson Jr. fled from the Detective and ended up wrecking on Trestle Lane. Henrickson Jr. then fled on foot and was pursued and captured. Jason Perry Henrickson Jr. was charged with 1 count of Felony Fleeing to Elude and 1 count of Misdemeanor DWLR. Henrickson Jr. was issued a $2,500.00 secured bond and scheduled to appear in Davie County District Court on June 11, 2026.

Narcotics Arrest

Sheriff JD Hartman states:
On May 25, 2026, at approximately 11:08 PM, Davie County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Ram pickup truck in the 4000 block of US Highway 601 South, Mocksville, for exceeding safe speed limit. Deputies made contact with the driver and front passenger. While speaking with deputies, the front passenger, Winson Trevel Scott, 31-year-old male, of the 100 block of Myers Road, attempted to conceal a container under his shirt. The deputy observed this and asked Scott to step out of the vehicle. Scott, appearing nervous, then attempted to empty the contents of the container onto the floorboard. Deputies were able to gain access to the container and located methamphetamine inside. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and a glass pipe and two straws were located on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Winson Trevel Scott was placed under arrest and charged with the following:

Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Scott was placed in Davie County Detention Center under a $3,500 secured bond. Scott has a court date of June 4, 2026 in Davie County District Court.
The driver, Madison Kaylynn Livengood, a 29-year-old female, of the 200 block of Ridgeland Drive, Cleveland, NC, was cited for Driving with a Revoked License and released.
