This is why we do what we do. ❤️

Behind every smile is a child who is learning, growing, discovering, and building their sense of belonging.

At Stanislaus County Office of Education Child & Family Services, we believe every child deserves a strong start and the opportunity to learn, connect, and thrive. Our work is about more than early learning. It’s about creating safe, supportive spaces where children can be themselves, build relationships, and feel excited about the world around them.

These smiles are a reminder of what we’re working toward every day: helping children thrive today while building a stronger future for tomorrow.

Here's to a new school year!

As our children return to classrooms across our community, we’re looking forward to all the moments that make early childhood so meaningful: the friendships that grow, the confidence that builds, the questions that spark curiosity, and the joy that comes from simply being together.

Here’s to another year of learning, growing, and making memories together. We’re grateful for the educators, families, and children who make it so special.

Welcome back! We’re so excited for another year together.

A look back at the Stanislaus County Early Care and Education Conference!

The conference gave child care providers and early childhood educators an opportunity to learn new skills, gain fresh perspectives, and take practical ideas back to their classrooms and child care centers.

Thank you to Modesto Children’s Museum and presenter Brian Krosnick, M.Ed., Director of Education, for helping make this professional learning opportunity possible and for sharing ideas focused on creativity, curiosity, and meaningful learning experiences for young children.

We appreciate everyone who joined us for a day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth!
