My perspective is similar- with one minor exception.

Agree or disagree… I will be nice to you whether you're nice to me or not… that's my choice and something I do for ME. It's not likely you will see me engage with negative or mean comments. I won't give them negative energy in return. That would be silly and there are so many positive people to connect with

I WONT spend time with negative people but I'm always polite even when people aren't always nice back. What would be the point of being mean or negative in response to someone who's mean or negative?

In my mind there are only a few options:

1. Delete them
2. Ignore them
3. Respond in kind
4. Pray for them

But never let them steal some of your positive energy by responding to them with negative
