The Dry Creek Trails Coalition and Operation 9-2-99 cleanups played a big role in this- thank you for your ongoing support!

The Mo’Beautiful campaign and the Blight Abatement Strategy are making meaningful progress in our community, and being recognized as a “Clean California Community” is confirmation that Modesto is moving in the right direction toward a cleaner, more sustainable future!

Yesterday we hosted our annual Dry Creek cleanup in partnership with Love Modesto. We had 120 volunteers participating to help clean up the areas around the Monterosso trail head along the banks of Dry Creek, removing just over 2500 pounds of garbage! We also hosted our Interscholastic MTB team, The Modesto Dust Devils, practice after the kids & coaches participated in the cleanup!

We appreciate the community support and the partnerships with the city of Modesto Parks, Recreation, & Neighborhoods, Modesto Police Rangers, and Love Modesto staff.
