LEAD Forward: Develop the Leader Within. Registration is closing soon for the Fall 2026 LEAD Forward Leadership Development Program, a six session program designed to help professionals strengthen communication, lead through change, build their leadership brand, navigate difficult conversations, and create a personalized leadership action plan. Thank you to everyone who joined us for Contentment, our Summer Advocacy Series session on public safety in Stanislaus County, including our attendees and community members who came out for this important conversation.

Thank you to our panelists, Brandon Gillespie, Chief of Police for the Modesto Police Department, Jeff Dirkse, Stanislaus County Sheriff, and Jeff Laugero, Stanislaus County District Attorney, for sharing their time and expertise, and to Amy Collier Carroll of ACC Strategies for facilitating such a thoughtful discussion.

We are also grateful to Greens on Tenth for hosting us and providing lunch, and to the Institute of Technology for their assistance with the event.
