NOTE TIME CORRECTION==This Saturday, May 16th is Mark Jordan's retirement open house from 1 pm to 3 pm, open to the public. There will be a SPECIAL presentation to him at 2:30 p.m. Come and help us honor him for his 42 years of service to Suffield Township!! The event will be held in the Fire Station Community Room.

We were proud to host the Field Local bus drivers and aides for their annual 2 hour safety session. Safety lecture, talks about "D" drivers, bus crashes, bus fires and some expected uses for first aid kit. The drivers also used fire extinguishers and sat on a bus that gradually filled with "theater" smoke to see what a bus full of smoke looks like and how difficult it is to escape a bus full of smoke. We then went outside and the drivers walked through the windshield of the training bus and escaped through the roof hatch. So nice to have you all here with us!!
