Nicely done young man.

During tonight’s Village council meeting, the Mogadore Fire Department awarded Joey Carrozzi with a citizen meritorious award and a department challenge coin. In May, Joey was getting ready for school when he smelled smoke and discovered his kitchen on fire. Joey successfully located a fire extinguisher and put out the fire prior to our arrival. His actions not only saved his residence from further damage, but may have prevented injuries or even worse. Great job Joey!

Mogadore Firefighters Association hopes that everyone had a great Christmas season and have plans for the New Year as it quickly approaches.
We have now entered a new chapter here at Mogadore Fire Department as we say good bye to Chief Cain and say hello to our new Fire Chief, Chief Seth Dowler. Congratulations also to Assistant Chief Andy Hiner for his promotion and well deserved. Our department has been left in good hands as we transition into the New Year with new leadership.

Today we had Chief Cains retirement luncheon hosted by the Village of Mogadore. Celebrating 44 years of service, with last 12 as Chief. Enjoy your days ahead Chief Cain.
