We honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to saying THANK YOU to everyone who supported MOVAC during this year’s Mohawk Valley Gives Day of Giving!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we received over 75 donations totaling nearly $27,000! You absolutely blew us away and far exceeded both of our matching challenges from Focus Adjusters and Advanced Group Financial Services, LLC.

Every single donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. Your support allows us to continue investing in the equipment, supplies, training, and resources our crews need to provide life-saving care and treatment throughout the Mohawk Valley.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared our posts, encouraged others to give, and helped spread the word. We truly could not do what we do without the support of the communities we serve.

From everyone here at MOVAC Ambulance Corps, THANK YOU!

We are proud to serve this community, and we are even more proud to have a community that continues to stand behind us.

Thank you for believing in MOVAC and helping us continue our mission!

Today is Mohawk Valley Day of Giving!

We want to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to Focus Adjusters for sponsoring our second $5,000 match!

That means every donation made to MOVAC will be matched, giving your donation even more impact! Whether it’s $5, $25, $50, or more, your contribution goes twice as far toward helping us continue to provide lifesaving emergency medical services to our community.

We ask everyone to please consider making a donation. Your support helps us purchase and maintain the lifesaving equipment our crews rely on every day.

Donate. Share. Spread the word.

Every dollar makes a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community and our amazing sponsors.

We can’t wait to put these donations right back into our community and into the equipment that helps us save lives. Thank you to everyone who supports MOVAC!

Help us reach our goal — and don’t forget to SHARE this post! Thank you all!

Today, a very special American flag is flying proudly in front of MOVAC. Earlier this summer, this flag flew over New York City before being folded and brought back to MOVAC Base.

Last week, our nation marked the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. For many in our region, this week marks 25 years since first responders from MOVAC and other agencies across the valley traveled to New York City to assist with the rescue, relief, and recovery efforts at Ground Zero.

As this flag flies over our station, we pause once again to remember the victims of September 11, their families and loved ones, and the countless first responders who answered the call. Today, we especially honor those from our own area who left their homes and families and traveled to Ground Zero to serve during one of our nation’s darkest hours.

At sundown, the flag will be respectfully lowered and refolded. It will be placed in a display case inside our station. There, it will remain as a lasting tribute to those we lost and those who answered the call.

Special thanks go to FDNY Paramedic James Wheaton of Station 8 in Manhattan and Captain Li of FDNY EMS Division 8, a former rescue medic in Brooklyn, for securing this flag for MOVAC.

We have not forgotten, and we never will forget.

We are incredibly grateful to announce that MOVAC Ambulance Corps has been selected as a recipient of the $1,000 Diamond Jackpot Prize through Mohawk Valley Gives! 🎉

Today, the Mohawk Valley Gives team stopped by to meet with us and learned about the work our crews do every day to help the communities we serve. It was a great opportunity to share what we do, talk about our role in the community, and show them what goes on behind the scenes at our agency.

We cannot thank Mohawk Valley Gives enough for recognizing MOVAC and supporting the work that our volunteers and employees put in every day. This $1,000 prize will go right back into helping us continue to provide the best possible service to our community. 🚑❤️

We also want to thank everyone who has supported MOVAC throughout this year’s Mohawk Valley Gives campaign. Every donation, share, kind word, and show of support means more to us than you know.

From all of us at MOVAC, thank you Mohawk Valley Gives!

As a nonprofit ambulance agency, we’re proud to be there for our community when you need us most. From emergency calls and community events to public education and everything in between, our crews work hard every day to provide the best care possible.

This week, we’re asking our community to consider supporting MOVAC Ambulance Corps through the MV Gives fundraiser. Every donation helps us continue providing quality EMS care, maintain our equipment and ambulances, and support the people who serve our community.

And there’s even more reason to give! Advanced Group Financial Services, LLC has generously offered to match the first $5,000 donated to our campaign! That means your donation can go twice as far in helping support your local ambulance service!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support MOVAC and our crews. We couldn’t do what we do without the incredible communities we serve.

Consider donating to MOVAC through MV Gives this week and help us continue to be there when our community needs us most!

Today we remember September 11th, 2001.

We will never forget the innocent lives lost that day and all of the families who were left behind. It was a day that changed our country forever.

We also remember the brave men and women who ran toward the danger when everyone else was trying to get away. Firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and everyday people put their own lives on the line to help others. Many made the ultimate sacrifice while trying to save someone else’s life.

Their courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.
