The Township is governed by a Board of Supervisors, whose member's are elected by the residents of the Township to six year terms.

This guy was found on Alleghenyville Road @ Witmer Road (near 222). He is chipped but unfortunately it is not registered. If you know who he belongs to please contact the police department at 610-655-4911.

Congratulations to Sergeant Martin for his graduation from the 18th Leadership Development Program. Sergeant Martin was among a select group of twenty-eight (28) law enforcement officers from across the state to complete the rigorous three-week program at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. The program focused on advanced academics and leadership principles. Sergeant Martin is the first from Brecknock PD to attend this prestigious professional development program.
