Another fun way to earn rewards just for reading! 📚🍕
Don’t forget about the classic Pizza Hut BOOK IT! Program—kids can earn FREE personal pan pizzas by reaching their reading goals. It’s a favorite for a reason!
And that’s not all… right here at your very own Moline Public Library, we’ve got even more awesome rewards waiting—think 🍦 ice cream, 🎡 State Fair tickets, and fun toys—just for picking up a book!
Reading really does pay off, so stop by, get signed up, and start earning. Let’s make this a summer full of stories (and snacks 😉)!

🍕📚 It’s HERE! Summer of Stories™ enrollment starts TODAY!
Time to turn reading into rewards (hello, pizza! 😍)

➡️ Enrollment is OPEN now—everyone must enroll each year (school & homeschool doesn’t carry over)
➡️ Download or update the BOOK IT!® App
➡️ Tap “Enroll Now” and complete the form

🍕 Important: If you downloaded the app earlier and added child profiles, that’s a great first step—but you may not be fully enrolled yet. Be sure to tap “Enroll for Summer” and complete registration!

Once enrolled, your information (registered children) will appear in the app when the program officially begins on June 1.

📖 Pre-K – 6th grade
📅 June 1 – August 31
🍕 First reward drops July 1–15

✨ Pro tip: Add the correct number of readers during registration—you can’t go back and add more later!

Let’s make this a summer full of stories, smiles, and pizza from Pizza Hut 🍕💛
Need help? [email protected] or “Contact Us” in the app!

We are incredibly honored to be one of 50 libraries nationwide awarded the $20,000 Accessible and Small and Rural Libraries Grant this year from the American Library Association. This means so much for our small rural library, and we’re excited to continue making our space welcoming and accessible for everyone.

The American Library Association has announced the fourth and final round of recipients of its Libraries Transforming Communities (LTC): Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant, an initiative to help small and rural libraries increase the accessibility of facilities, services and programs to better serve people with disabilities.

The 300 funded proposals represent 46 U.S. states and the Northern Mariana Islands. Of the selected libraries, 73% serve communities with populations of 5,000 or fewer. 50 libraries will receive grants of $20,000, and 250 libraries will receive grants of $10,000.

“This initiative has been a catalyst for ongoing disability access," said ALA President Sam Helmick. "It will continue to teach nearly 900 library workers the fundamentals of accessibility and guiding improvements to their library’s services across the board and will continue to do so for years to come.”

What a beautiful day at the library. 🌱☀️

A heartfelt thank you to Emily with Rolling Prairie Extension District and Endra with Parents as Teachers - Elk County for creating such a meaningful experience for our families. Endra brought so much joy to our youngest patrons through hands-on learning stations, while Emily guided our grade school kids in making their own terrariums—each one full of creativity and pride.

The best part… everyone left with a flower or succulent to take home.

This is what our library is all about....learning, growing, and creating together.
