💥A couple of important items as we approach our scholarship application deadline THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 13TH AT 4PM!💥
🧑‍🎓STUDENTS - make sure you actually hit submit when you finish the application! Jotform will send you an email confirming your submission (it's probably in you spam folder), so if you don't see that, you haven't submitted. We do NOT accept incomplete applications!
🙋MEMBERS - If your student is applying and you are a member, please make sure your membership has been paid! We have received a few applications with member number listed that have not been paid for the 2026 year.

🍴IT'S FREEZER MEAL FUNDRAISER TIME!🍴

Looking for an easy way to enjoy home cooked meals during a busy Spring planting season? We have your answer!

Enjoy the ease of picking up 10 individual prepackaged meals, prepared by Custom BBQ. All you need to do is reheat and eat! A great way to save on grocery shopping and meal prep while supporting the Rock Island County Farm Bureau Foundation.

Each individual meal is packaged in fully biodegradable bamboo containers that are freezer, microwave and oven safe, and sealed with a plastic heat sealer to help prolong freezer life and food quality. These individual meals can be ready in minutes and can be easily delivered to a tractor, barn, taken on the go or be enjoyed right at home. Who wants a cold meat sandwich when you can enjoy a warm, hearty meal!

What you get with your order:
Cheesy Hamburger Casserole x 2
Pulled Pork Mac n Cheese x 2
Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas x 2
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta *Improved Recipe* x 2
Chicken Fajitas w/ Peppers & Onions x 2

Cost to order is $95. Pre-orders and payment is required by March 6th. Please mail or drop off your payment at the Rock Island County Farm Bureau, 1601 52nd Ave, Suite 3, Moline, IL 61265. Pick up is March 23rd.

On Friday, we took our virtual reality headsets to Ridgewood Elementary School in East Moline to teach 4th graders all about dairy! We partnered with John Deere volunteers who helped students make homemade ice cream, and we showed our dairy lesson with the goggles. We had a great day visiting three classrooms with a great group of students, teachers and volunteers!
