Did you know next week is small business week?

To highlight the wonderful local business, the Small Business Development Center and Western Illinois University-Quad Cities will highlight a small business each day of the week on September 13th through the 17th.

One of the amazing businesses we are proud to promote is Mari's Tamales for Hope.

On Wednesday, September 15th from 11AM to 2PM, she will be selling tamales in Riverfront Hall, and WIU-QC would love if you could stop by to give her all the support.

Prices are $5 for 3 tamales and $16 for 12 tamales. CASH ONLY!
Options are chicken tamales with salsa verde and pork tamales with salsa rojo.

All large orders must be placed by September 10th by texting Mari (309) 428-2424, which can be picked up on Wednesday, September 15th on Campus.

River Bend Food Bank is hosting a mobile food pantry in partnership with John Deere Cylinder and Seeding Group at the TaxSlayer Center parking lot (1201 River Drive Moline, IL) on July 16, 2021 and August 20, 2021.

Registration is at 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM; distribution begins at 10:00 AM.
