Always You is proud to help share this important message from Governor Josh Shapiro to Pennsylvanians with disabilities, families, advocates, and allies.

The letter reaffirms Pennsylvania’s commitment to the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Olmstead decision, and to protecting the dignity, independence, choice, and full participation of people with disabilities in their communities.

At Always You, these values are closely connected to the work we believe in every day: creating opportunities, removing barriers, building confidence, and helping people live, work, learn, and participate fully in the communities they call home.

We encourage our families, partners, advocates, and community members to read and share this message.

This morning, in front of our Inspire Cart and surrounded by love and pride, our Founder and CEO, Ondréa L. Burton, was sworn in to the Governor's Advisory Commission on People with Disabilities.

She brings to Harrisburg the same belief that built Always You: that people with disabilities deserve policies designed with them, not around them.

We are proud. We are ready.

Always You Worship is designed and led by Always You participants and their supporters, a gathering built on faith, community, and the belief that everyone belongs.

Live music. Inspiring messages. Singing and dance. And a room full of people who show up for each other.

Always You has partnered with to create a brand-new ice cream flavor made to celebrate National Ice Cream Month AND National Disability Pride Month.

Every scoop supports something real. Proceeds go directly toward purchasing a 15-passenger vehicle so our participants can access job shadowing, career training, civic exploration, and meaningful travel experiences.

Governor Shapiro has appointed our Founder and CEO, Ondréa L. Burton, to the Governor's Advisory Commission on People with Disabilities.

Ondréa brings to this commission the same conviction that built Always You: that people with disabilities deserve policies designed with them, not around them. Her voice at the state level means Beaver County's work reaches Harrisburg, and the people we serve have a seat at the table where decisions are made.
