Thank-you to all those who once again supported my candidacy to serve on Central Valley's School Board. And congratulations to my friend Nate Bible who will become the next District Attorney of Beaver County. We had a tremendous team who worked tirelessly, enabling us to serve our respective constituents with experience and dignity.

There are 60 minutes in a game. I often told my students that winners play all 60. That's why I'm not letting up. If you believe in our students and our District like I do, get out of the stands and onto the field and vote for experience. Thank-you!

So humbled by the remarks fellow Board Member, Marsha Decenzo, made. "I have come to know Lucky while working for the Central Valley school district and now being a member of the school board with him. To describe him in one word, would be perfection. He never makes a decision without extensive research. His experience and background makes him a perfect candidate to serve as Education Committee Chairperson. Lucky never misses board meetings, committee meetings and spends hours upon hours of interviews for open teacher positions when necessary. It will be a loss to the Board and community if Dante "Lucky" Ross is not re-elected for another 4-year term on November 7." - Marsha Harb Decenzo

It's always great running into former students, players and colleagues that I had over my career. Should you come across Officer Kohar, thank him for keeping our citizens safe. I coached him in football.

When I was out canvassing, I caught up with a former colleague of mine, Jan Kaminski. Here's what she had to say - "Dante Ross and I share a similar passion for public education. As former school teachers and administrators, we believe in equal access to educational opportunities for all children. We also recognize the value of dedicated, passionate teachers who spark creativity and cognitive growth in our children, while keeping them safe in today's classrooms. Please give Dante your vote. For the children."

Great times catching up with my fraternity at homecoming with lifelong friends and family. I learned a long time ago from these folks many lessons about loyalty and integrity.

While it was not the outcome we were looking for, Central Valley played a good game against a good opponent. And it's always good catching up with some of the best CV staff, from nursing, business and AD. All winners who know that there are 60 minutes in a game. We're playing them all!
