🚨 We Need Your Help, Monaca! 🚨

We have the volunteers. We have the smoke alarms. Now we need the households!

The American Red Cross is preparing for its Sound the Alarm event in Monaca on September 26, and there are still opportunities for Monaca residents to have FREE smoke alarms installed in their homes.

This isn't just for homes without any smoke alarms.

👉 Have an alarm that's getting old?
👉 Have one that doesn't work anymore?
👉 Not sure if you have enough alarms or if they're in the right locations?
👉 Know a neighbor, friend, parent, or grandparent who could use them?

There is no charge for the smoke alarms and no charge for the installation.

The American Red Cross, with support from the Monaca Fire Department, will be out in our community from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 26 helping make Monaca homes safer.

❤️ Our goal is simple: get working smoke alarms into as many homes as possible.

So help us fill that schedule!

Don't miss our last Monaca Groove 'n Grub of the season on Friday, August 14 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Antoline Park located at 2500 Marshall Road in Monaca.

This month's featured band is 48th Drive! They'll be serving up high-energy variety musica nd DJ Ian Sallese of Inner Groove Records will be spinning records before the band starts and during band breaks.

Come get your groove on and get your grub on with live music, a tasty variety of food trucks and vendors.

Food and festivities start at 5:30 p.m.
