Today we attended the Big Bend Area Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Ceremony at Sul Ross University in Alpine. It was a great honor to be the hosting agency for this event. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women whose names are now etched on the memorial wall. We would also like to thank Judge Holly (Keynote speaker), Stephanie Pena (National Anthem)and Pastor Chris Powell (Invocation and Benediction) for their participation in todays ceremony.

🚨 When an Emergency Vehicle Is Approaching (Lights & Siren On)🚨

If you see or hear an emergency vehicle (police, fire, ambulance):
• Pull over to the right side of the road
• Stop completely
• Stay stopped until the vehicle has passed
• Of unable to pull over please stop and allow the emergency vehicles to maneuver around you
• If you’re in an intersection, clear it first, then pull over

This applies to:
🚓 Police vehicles
🚑 Ambulances
🚒 Fire trucks
🚨 Other authorized emergency vehicles using lights & sirens
