🎄🎅 What an amazing night! The scouts did great decorating ornaments for the residents at Sunshine Childrens home! Special thanks all those that helped out and to the scouts from pack 236, and pack 68 for joining us tonight! 🎄🎅

Special thanks goes out to Monclova Township Fire Firefighters Local 5450 and L J Archambeau & Associates Therapy for donating snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Honoring Firefighter Larry Bernhard: We'd like to share the news of the passing of Firefighter Larry Bernhard, one of the original members of the Monclova Township Fire~Rescue Department. FF Bernhard was dedicated to service and was a cornerstone in building the strong, dependable department we know today. He started as a volunteer firefighter (back in the day when at-home dispatchers called volunteers via landline phones to come to a call) and trained to become an officer, and then in 1987, an EMT. He was a mentor with 36 years of service-1962 until his retirement in 1998. Our thoughts are with the family. Rest easy, Larry.

It is with deep sadness that Perrysburg Township Fire & EMS Department announce the passing of Firefighter/Paramedic Troy Bernhard, after a long battle with occupational cancer.

Troy was a 28 year veteran of the Perrysburg Township Fire Department. Troy leaves behind a loving wife, Rachel, and two beautiful children, Samantha and Joseph.

Troy was a friend to many of us inside and out of the firehouse. He was always good to crack a quick joke, and make you laugh! He was great with crafts and made several projects that are on display throughout the fire station.

Firefighter funeral information will follow in the coming days.

SALISBURY/HOLLOWAY IS NOW OPEN!

Crews finished up the last necessary work to open around 8:30 tonight. So it is techinally open now and will be for the morning commute. We debated waiting til the AM to post as Vernon Nagel, Inc. crews still have to remove some secondary barricades and finish up some more cleanup work but decided let’s let whoever sees this be able to know they can use it tomorrow.
