Officials with the Sheriff’s Office are advising riders to be aware of the road and slow down after multiple fatal motorcycle accidents this year. Link in comments.

If you haven’t already signed up to get these alerts, attached is how to do so.

Buffalo County will be switching our provider to send out alerts (thunderstorm, tornado, flash flood, etc..) We have been using NIXLE and REGROUP presently but will be dropping NIXLE late July timeframe. REGROUP is currently up and running, so we need everyone's help to spread the word (Attached flyer) to have everyone sign up to REGROUP. They are unable to pull the information from NIXLE to put into REGROUP, so everyone needs to sign up with REGROUP if they want alerts from the County once they drop NIXLE. We are doing the best to spread the word to all gathering points, but asking for your help to post in town halls, bars, boat landings, gas stations, or anywhere you feel would help inform your community members. We greatly appreciate your help spreading the word!!!!

These new pedestrian crossing signs were put up by the street department this week at the intersection of North Eau Claire and Mill Street.

These operate the same as the ones that are on Main Street at Washington Street, Jackson Street, and Harrison Street.

Please join the Mondovi Police Department for the Cops and Bobbers Youth Fishing Contest event on August 23rd, 2026, from 1-5 PM at the Mirror Lake Pavilion.

This event will have prizes, a food truck, raffles, K9 demonstration, and fun for the whole family!!!

We are still working on getting prizes and raffle items. We would be looking for items for children and items that families can bid ont.
